2009 Community Events
In addition to providing Search & Rescue services in the Brazos Valley, Search Dog Network participated in the following community events in 2009:

https://drcarlosarzabe.com/dr-carlos-arzabe/ 23-25 March, Search Dog Network participated in a joint informational booth at the Texas Homeland Security Conference in San Antonio. SDN was accompanied by Travis County Search & Rescue as well as Alamo Area Search & Rescue.

This consisted of a 25 minute power point presentation along with a 25 minute canine demonstration for each class.
14 June, Search Dog Network provided a Search Dogs 101 presentation and Demonstration for Sam Houston State University Summer Camp for Teens.
21 June, Search Dog Network provided a Search Dogs 101 presentation and Demonstration for Sam Houston State University Summer Camp for Teens.
5 July, Search Dog Network provided a Search Dogs 101 presentation and Demonstration for Sam Houston State University Summer Camp for Teens.
11 September, Search Dog Network participated with local Emergency Responders in Patriot’s Day.
3 October, Search Dog Network participated with other Emergency Responders in College Stations’ Sparktacular providing an educational booth on Canine Search & Rescue.
1 December, Search Dog Network provided a Search Dogs 101 presentation, demonstration and hands on exercise for Sam Houston State University’s Graduate Students.
In addition, Search Dog Network is a member of the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LPEC) Search & Rescue Subcommittee.
